Hmmmm, so they've developed an unstable single-line kite. Wonder what would happen if they put a tail on it?

Here are some real underwater kites:) Maybe AKA needs to add a new type of kite competition?
Under water kites

The old Skynasaur stunt kites could actually be flown from air, into the water, under water for a ways and then back out into the air again. They had a very heavy resin-coated sail. I know it works, because I've tried it. (I actually still have 4 Skynasaurs of various sizes.)

Thanks for the bringing back some memories.

When I managed kite stores for Catch The Wind some time last century, one of the selling points for the Hawaiian was that it was strong enough to be flown under water, information generally shared when the customer would ask if the kite could handle strong winds.
