I'm posting a couple of kites for sale on behalf of kite flyer Roy Hammond of Wichita Falls, Texas. Roy doesn't get to these kite forums, so he asked if I would post a couple kites for him. If you're interested, contact Roy via e-mail, at: rlhammond0536@att.net

He currently has two kites he needs to sell.

The first one is a Altair Cellular Box kite (large), and in great condition. Roy bought the kite in 1989 and rarely flew it. He's asking $300.00 OBO plus shipping.

The second kite is a Custom made Reza Rokkaku kite that he bought from Reza in 1990. The kite is huge as far as Rokkakus are considered. It measures 12 ft x 10 ft. It is in good shape but has a few small tears in the sail. Roy said the tears would be easy to repair. I'm not sure how the tears happened, because he said it hasn't been flown much. Roy is asking $900.00 OBO, plus shipping.



Roy got into kiting in the mid 80's and was good friends with Brent Onstott "Bo's Kites". Brent manufactured the very first American made kite buggy in 1992, after seeing the first Peter Lynn buggy in America, at the 1992 AKA Lubbock Texas Convention. The buggy was named "Wind Rover" and was green in color, with bicycle style wheels. Brent also made a couple of model stunt kites, and made some traction foil kites. I live in the same city as both of these guys and can vouch for Roy Hammond.
