@ the Web Master. How can you get a private message if it's not associated with a thread or topic,it's just another member sending a private communication. Other forums I frequent have a "PM" box on the home page that indicates "message waiting" as soon as I'm logged in. Is that a feature we can have?

Look at the top of this section. I have added 'Messages' after to 'Topic View' and before 'Users'. If you have any waiting messages, a number appears above the Menu with the number of messages waiting for you.
