BTW, if you forget and hit the back button while viewing the Preview, you may be able to click on the Forward button and recover your "missing" text. Try it out to see if you can do this BEFORE YOU LOSE several hundred well-thought-out words.

OK, thanks.  I rather KNEW that it was a problem with me.  I just did not know what the problem was.

Anyone else having a problem viewing the forum using Chrome? The site seems to shrink down to about 3/4 of the screen. Text is too small to be readable.

In response to one of the original posts in this thread... about the old kitetalk entries I was wondering if they could be copied to a cd/dvd and be made available. I am not familiar with the format that they are in so I understand that even if the file is available it may not be accessable without licensed software making it next to impossible to access. Of course if it was available it would be a good resource. The same goes for the past board discussion area so that current board members could see what is involved in the discussions on picking sites and other well thought out decisions. Of course the release of that information would be restricted.

Or, in my case, I have NO IDEA what button / key I touched where I lost the page and ended up somewhere completely foreign!  Learnt my lesson - type my reports off-line, then copy & paste.  Dang these computer-thingies!

My issues are that in Chrome the site is resized so small I cannot read the text (I've never seen that happen before) and also when I type a reply if i use more then the area aloted I don't stay scrolled down. The board forces my view back to the top until I hit a key. It then flashes down and my character is in the correct spot but flashes me right back up to the top so I can't see what I'm typing. Yes, easier to just type using a text editor and copy/paste. Beyond annoying.

If you have a long post, look at the upper right side of the input box. It says Size +-. click on + to enlarge the box. Scrolling problem goes away.

I am viewing this now in Chrome 9.0.597.19 beta on a Mac; no issues with size.  Check your View menu, where 'Actual Size' and some resizing/zooming options are available. I am able to shrink/enlarge my page using these.
