Hi Doug, I went to "kite genres" ,clicked on Sport Kite Standings and I got the latest up date,,,dated 1/22/2011  I also saw results for 2010  . Is that where you were looking?

I just went to check the standings this morning at 8:01AM(EST) on 1/27/11. I got the same as Doug going to Kite Genres, sport kite and sport kite standings.

How strange,,,thought I was drinking paint,,,, I went back and did what Maggie did,, and got the correct info.  Doug and  Marc with 8 points in  Master Individual Precision, yes ?

I went back and tried it again. I refreshed the page and tried it again. I got the same results...could not select database DB_NAME. I guess it doesn't like me very much. It only likes Cliff.

For what it's worth, I also see "could not select database DB_NAME" when I try to look at Kite_Genres/Sport_Kite/Sport_Kite_Standings.

When I try the same thing for Fighter Kites, it works as expected, and shows a chart followed by the list of years, which can be clicked on.

This looks like an error message which is displayed when a file is missing or not available for some reason.

That "DB_NAME" really looks like a placeholder ( such as {Type-your-name-here} ) which you might find in a template for setting up the forum. Since it is a placeholder, there is no such file. I suspect that somewhere in the setup, the name of the actual database file which contains the sport kite standings has not been entered.

Cliff, that is where I am looking.  Still getting the same statement.  Maybe an access level error and only Officers can see it now?

There must be something else going on. I also get the message of "could not select data base"
Does this mean I don't have to be an officer any more?

I don't think this has anything to do with who you are.
DB_NAME is a SQL function. My guess is that either the wrong database id is being passed to the function or, heaven forbid, the database has been damaged.
