You're lucky. The "blank" pages I have to work through have now ballooned to 10. It started with 4 or 5, and has increased by one every week or so. I actually have begun scanning the colored dots in the Index rather than plow through all those blank pages in "Show Unread Posts". Strangely, the colored dots don't always work either, so I still have to do the Blank Page Tango every few days.

I thought I was the only one with this issue. (I'm ALWAYS the one with weird problems.)

Sorry to hear that you have even more pages than me but, glad to hear that some one else is frustrated with this function.

Today I only have three pages:

P1: 10 topics
P2: 2 topics
P3: 2 topics

Now it's getting ridiculous! Today, when clicking on "Show Unread Posts" I got 39 pages. There were 5 unread posts on the first page, and not a single new post on the other 38 pages. And you can't just skip them because sometimes there ARE new posts on the pages beyond #1.

Frankly, it makes this a mostly useless "feature".

Up to 43 now. New posts only in the first one today.

I don't bother with unread posts. I just check for recent ones.

I usually just go to the Index page and scroll down, clicking on the sub-forums that have icons showing activity. But once a week or so, I click on Show Unread Topics and there are usually a dozen or so that never showed up as "hot" icons in the Index.

To me, this means that it needs to be fixed.

I have given up on "Show unread posts". It does not work.

Now I use the "Topic View" of the index instead. It lists topics with the newest posts at the top and when I'm done reading the ones I'm interested in I can mark the rest as read.

Sorry, I'm just too techie. When something is broke, I want to pursue getting it fixed. (I do appreciate good work-arounds, though.)
