Kite events happening in Region
Now that Irene has left us with power outage, flooding and other damage its time to pick up your kite and go flying. A few events that I know of:
September 3, Dorset Park fly.
September 10th the Capriccio Festival of kites 10am-2pm.
September 10th-11th, FORTFEST at Fort Ontario in Oswego NY.
September 11th, Harkness Day at Harkness State Park, Waterford, CT.
I know I have missed some of the flys. Please list them on the Calendar so all can find them.

Joan and I won't be making the New Years day fly at Breton Point in Newport this year. We are going to New Jersey with Stella to a dog show.

ConnectiKITERS Kite making workshop. The ConnectiKiters workshop will be held March 11 at the MasonicCare in Wallingford CT. The workshop will be led by Gary Engvall and the club is planning on making the John Freeman design Goin' and Comin' Kite.
MasonicCare on Masonic way, Wallingford CT. 9:00am to 5:00pm.
