Wow, 5 days and not a response!!! You would think with 220 members and 2 Members of the Board of Directors and 1 AKA Contractor you would at least here something.  Anyone there, at least a "Hello, I'm here would be sufficient!!

Not from Region 2, but your observations just confirm how few AKA members ever visit this forum.  Heck, most do not even know how to log on or have lost the directions.

WOW, 3 responses and 2 of them from outside the region!!! It may be time to put something in Kiting about how to log on to the Forum. Either that or people are tired of being beaten up when they post something.

4/21/2012 (Saturday) Kite Day at Brandywine Creek State Park, Help us celebrate Earth Day at this annual event by trying your hand at making and flying your own kite!  Join us for a day of fun and adventure in the great outdoors.  Raindate of April 22nd.  The time is 1-3 pm. I can make sure that the members of your club will get free entrance, they will just need to mention to the fee booth collector that they are with the club.  There is a large parking lot at the top of a hill and if the members have trailers, they can park there or even on the grass near the parking area. Mike, I spent a day with you a couple weeks ago, and I'm gonna spend most of this Sunday with you. How much more of each other can we handle?

I don't know either but thought you'd like to know that there now is an orange and yellow Windrose at the Dallmers!

I only visit these forums every week or so.  And don't post in a lot of the threads because they can be abusive and unpleasant.  There are other kinder and gentler venues for kiting.  I much prefer the in person events like Phil's workshop which Robert Brasington so graciously consented to - and Fran Gramkowski's hosting of the SJKF meeting and sale of his kite collection (of which I bought way too much).
