[Destin] Kitty Hawk Kites will continue our high flying tradition with the 6th Annual Flying High on the Harbor Kite Festival!
The event features Professional Stunt Kite Flying & Demonstrations, RC Demos, Kite Making, Contests (Cupstacking Competition), Toys & Games for all ages. At sunset, enjoy the Kites With Lights show over Noriega Point (weather permitting). Enjoy the sites of kites of all sizes and shapes being flown on the harbor! The public is welcome to experience and learn from the pros both days.
Join us for two full days of huge kites flying over the harbor! The fun is from 10am to 10pm on October 18th and October 19th.
There are tons of FREE things to do at the store front from 4pm to 8pm including:

Toys and Games
Cup Stacking Competition
Toy Demos

[Miami Beach] Hosted by Miami-Dade Parks and Skyward Kites, these free events feature demonstrations from longtime kite enthusiasts. In addition, there will be kite-flying competitions for both children and adults
We especially encourage folks that can make their kites in their traditional styles from countries they may want to represent. In years past we have had kites in the traditional styles of countries like The Bahamas, China, Colombia, Jamaica, Trinidad, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and many more. It is a fantastic way to celebrate the unique diversity of cultures that South Florida has.
LIVE ON STAGE: The fantastic musical talents of 21 Hearts, 1 Beat.
People of all ages are encouraged to come out to fly their kites, make their own kites for free or purchase an already-made kite. There is no limitation to the size and type of kite. Those who just want to watch can bring a blanket and enjoy the sight of hundreds of kites in the air and some great live music. Food and refreshments & kites will be available for purchase

[Atlanta] The 3rd Annual Atlanta World Kite Festival and Expo is an event created to celebrate the many diverse families of metropolitan Atlanta by bringing together healthy families, food, entertainment, and kite flying.
[Cambridge] This Annual Event, in its 10th year, is always a great close to the kiteflying season. Situated of the banks of the Choptank River in scenic and historic Cambridge, MD, this fun fly features a great open space for kite enthusiasts. More than 500 families and children come to enjoy this free festival, with great food, extreme events like rock walls, kite making competitions, trophies for stunt kites, fun music, and much much more.
