[Wrightsville Beach] Cape Fear Kite Festival & John Barresi Rev Clinic November 6th � 8th

Come join us for one of the best kite events on the east coast, the Cape Fear Kite Festival. The event is held on the large beach at the Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach, NC Nov. 7 & 8 with a Rev Clinic by John Barresi on Friday Nov. 6th. Only in its 4th year, word of this event spread quick and now it attracts kite fliers from all over the country. The event has a very relaxed, fun fly atmosphere that is welcoming to all. In past years there has been a great showing of large single line kites, Revs, and dual like kites. Be sure to make the banquet and auction Saturday night and we are working on a indoor fly Friday night.

New this year, a Rev Clinic by John Barresi. John is a 10 time National Multi-Line Champion, captain of Quad Revolution team, and one of the men behind Kitelife.com online kite magazine. This will be his first clinic in the NC area. In this clinic he will cover basic and advanced Revolution techniques in both group and one on one instruction. He will only take 12 people for this clinic. Cost is $60 per person and all this goes to cover John�s travel and time. To sign up, call Hunter at 910-763-1730. [Corolla] A relaxing kite flying holiday sponsored by The Tennessee Wind Militia, Flying Smiles Kites, Jackite, Prism Kites, HQ, and Gomberg Kites (so far...more to come) focused on fun for the flyers.

Starting on Thanksgiving Day we will hit the field for a 3 day fly Thursday through Saturday. There will be a Thanksgiving Dinner/party Thursday night for those in attendance, including door prizes.

An indoor fly is being planned for Friday evening. Additional activities such as demos and night flying will be announced at a later date.
