Comments:
If they Walt to supply material also, he needs to know how many will be attending so he can get the material cut out (and everything will be ready to start sewing) as a kit for $40.00. If they want to get their own material, they will need 5.5-6 yards of cotton cloth (45 inches wide) with a nice print or large design on it. NOT too heavy or too thin. It should be like sheeting or shirt(blouse) thickness. Walt has made kites from bedsheets.(not this delta) Walt will supply the remaining items to finish the kite for $15.00. There will be printed instructions for each person. Sewing items needed: machine, needles, thread(white or black), pins, tape measure, scissors, pencil or something to mark the cloth with. After each kite is finished being sewn I will help in getting all the sticks cut to fit each kite. We should be able test fly each kite by 4pm. If somebody has other questions please call, 806-797-9263, or E-mail Walt at katinka@hub.ofthe.net Walt will be glad to help.
