AKA Sport Kite competitions, single line competitons, Rokakku battles, kids candy drops, kite demos, kite vendors, food vendors, live entertainment, Saturday night banquet and auction (6pm), night flying with lights on kites, children’s games.

From the north (Dallas) or south (San Antonio), drive on I-35 to the far north end on San Marcos. You'll see an industrial park on the west side of the highway. The kite festival will be next to the hwy, and next to Butler Manufacturing. You'll also notice a fairly tall brick tower that is used for fire department training.
