A weekend of kite flying, fun and friendship at the 17th Annual Berkeley Kite Festival & West Coast Kite Championships. If you have not attended the Berkeley Kite Festival before, we are sure you will enjoy the event. If you are like many festival attendees, you will become part of the extended Berkeley Kite Festival Family who returns to Berkeley year after year. Our Berkeley Fest is a three-ring circus of kite flying and family fun. In fact the Berkeley Kite Festival has long been called the “event with something for everyone”. If you like big kites, how about 16,468 square feet of giant Peter Lynn kites! That’s the largest collection of Lynn inflatable kites ever presented on the West Coast.
