The Capriccio Festival of Kites is part of a week long celebration of the arts. Three hundred kites will be given to children to decorate and fly. Prizes will be awarded in 25 categories. Free parking and T-shirts will be given to AKA members who help with the festival. This is a fun fly, an area of the beach will be roped off for flying. Offical activities are from 10am to 2pm. Low tide is at 2pm.

Directions:

From the south take I95 to the Ogunquit exit. Turn left onto Route 1 and go north 7 miles to Ogunquit. Turn right onto Beach Street and go 1 block to parking lot. From the north take I95 south to the Wells exit. Turn left and go to Route 1. Take roure 1 south to Ogunquit, turn left onto Beach Street. Go 1 block to parking lot.
