Description:
What’s New and What’s HOT! The Boston Area Sport Kite Championships and Kite Festival 2004 will be held at Boston’s Millennium Park. The festival will be held on a 5 plus acre surface. There are two competition fields with the perimeters secured by a fence. The field sizes are 275 ft. x 275 ft. The park is 220 above sea level with unobstructed views in all directions, easy access and ample parking. As the Boston Bean Pot trophies were so popular, they have returned to adorn competitor’s shelves. The Boston Banquet and Auction will have many, many great items for the kite pilot! Don’t be left out, get your tickets early. Do you fly indoors? There will be a Indoor competition… So sign up early. Terry Murray, "The Kitebus" of the Richmond Air Force Kite Club will travel from Virginia to be the announcer for Boston 2004. On Sunday, the "Hot Trick’s Shoot-out" takes place, so bring your western style of kite flying. And the ever-popular "Rev Mania" will challenge all quad-line pilots... Stay tuned ...
