Description:

The Junction Kite Retreat is a long-standing tradition of kite-making classes and kite flying at the beautiful location of TTU Center at Junction, Texas. Huge flying field, plenty of classes, dorm-style housing and meals provided. Cost: $200 per participant.

Junction is located at the intersection of I-10 and Hwy 83, the campus center is located just two miles south of the town and this intersection; approximately 75 miles west of San Antonio and 150 miles south of Abilene, TX.

Dorm style housing, 9 meals, classrooms, flying field and insurance is covered by the $200 registration fee. Linens $9.00 extra. Some classes may have a small fee for kits or materials provided by instructors. Activities include making and flying kites; there is no competition. The event is designed to bring art, kiting, and people together.
