Description:
This event is geared for family and friends featuring kites brought out from the Solid Kite Group and a guest stunt flier to entertain participants. Kite making for kids and games on the Ecology Bus will also be available. The Discovery Quest treasure hunts will open up for the summer starting with this event! Folks wishing to explore Jackson and Cottonwood counties this summer can do so through 10 treasure hunts developed for this region.
This event piggybacks with the Wings on the Prairie day at Wolf Lake including a swan release over the wetland in the morning, along with prairie walks, wood duck house building, presentation by the Raptor Center and more! A bison burger feed will be held at noon and prizes will be given away throughout the day.

From Windom: head East on 6th Street (next to McDonalds) and continue onto Co. Rd. 17 for approximately 1 mile. Location is on south side of the road.
