Description:
The City of Hamilton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a KITE FLYING DAY on Saturday, June 4, 2005, at 11:00 am in which kite enthusiasts between the ages of 5 -12 can come to the Wilson Pool parking lot located at 1025 Cleveland Avenue and fly your kites. There will be exciting prizes given for the most original kite, the biggest and smallest kite, and even a contest to see whose kite can fly the highest. The event is free and open to the public. There will be refreshments served. The only requirement is that you need to bring your own kite and string. The kites can be store bought or you can get creative and make it yourself. We will have staff on hand to assist you in your high flying adventure. So, if you are in to competing or just having fun, bring your family and friends and your kite for this one of a kind special event.
