KSWI in partership with Gift of Wings and the Chicago Botanic Gardens presents this very FIRST Kite Festival at the Gardens Featuring The Chicago Fire, Josh and Zak Gordon, and Paul Koepke and Kathy Brunnehl. A highlite of the weekend will be Charlie Sotich and his kite making workshop for the kids of Chicago. The festival will be located in a relatively small flying field, West of the main entrance. Kite flyers will have one nice area to fly during this event. The times are 12:00 noon until 4 pm each day. The gardens were voted as the third best attraction in the Chicagoland area, so plan to spend the entire day flying kites and visiting this beautiful Park.
