Kites Over Lake Storey Kick Off Party Is held in the beautiful indoor Lake Storey Pavilion from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening This all ages party includes a fabulous dinner, great crafts, kite making and a suspenseful magic show. This event requires a small fee and can be attended by reservation only.
Saturday & Sunday the outdoor kite flying festival begins at Lake Storey Park.This event is FREE for the whole family. Grounds open Saturday at 9a.m. – 8p.m. and on Sunday grounds open at 10a.m. - 2 p.m.Cookouts provided by local food services both days. Silent Auction starts Saturday and ends at 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Candy drops anytime throughout the two day event(weather depending). Kite Flying lessons taught by professionals. Each year new and exciting events take place during the two day outdoor event.
