This event is the Second Annual West Virginia Kite Festival. Event starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes until 4:00 p.m.. The first 100 children that attend the First West Virginia Kite Festival will receive a free kite.

From Wellsburg, West Virginia on Rt 2 turn onto Alt. 27. Just over 4 miles on Alt. 27 find Brooke Hills Park on right. Pass the club house on the left continue to the fork in the road park at the large parking lot besides the Cardinal Shelter.

This event is the First Annual West Virginia Kite Festival. This annual event is planned for the last Saturday afternoon in each April. The West Virginia Kite Festival is co-hosted by the West Liberty State College’s SMART-Center (hands-on science center in Northern West Virginia), Near Earth Object Foundation, and Brooke Hills Park. Event starts at 1:00 p.m. and goes until 4:00 p.m.. The first 100 children that attend the Second Annual West Virginia Kite Festival scheduled for April 28, 2007 will receive a free kite.
