Description:
Family Day Kite Festival is a free, family-friendly event for San Francisco Bay Area families. Event Highlights: •Kids and adults make and fly their own kites. •Kite-making, contests and roving celebrity judges. •Professional kite-flying of high-tech and exotic kites. •Kid attractions include monster inflatable booths, funny rides and clowns. •Food and non-alcoholic beverage booths located throughout the festival.
Contests will be held and prizes awarded in six categories: •Funniest •Biggest •Smallest •Most High-Tech •Most Extreme •Most Beautiful

Directions: Marina Green expands east and west from the corner of Fillmore Street and Marina Boulevard on San Francisco’s picturesque northern shoreline. Transportation: the Marina Green is served by SF Muni bus service (415)673-6864. Parking: there are 600+ free parking spaces immediately adjacent to the Marina Green and another 500 available ¼ mile away on Cressy Field.
