Description:
Redcliffe Kitefest is FREE to the general public and caters for persons of all ages, with a variety of food, craft stalls, and amusements for children, complementing the colourful array of kites including a giant Trilobite, Squid, King Neptune and Mermaid, plus Stunt Kite displays filling the sky, and as Pelican Park, Hornibrook Esplanade Clontarf is right on the foreshore of Bramble Bay, on the Redcliffe Peninsula it creates a fantastic atmosphere.
Kite flying starts 12pm midday to 4pm on the Saturday.
The Main Festival gets underway at 9am Sunday with the official opening by the Redcliffe City Mayor at 10am and all day until festivities conclude at 4pm.
