Description:
Kite Summer Festival’07 powered by Opel Astra Sport is the 2nd edition of the Portuguese Kitesurf Event with more riders ever done in Portugal. It consists in a range of activities, in and out of the water, where the kitecross will be the main event, opened to Portuguese and foreign riders.
The KSF’07 will happen during the weekend of 18th and 19th of August of 2007, in Nova Vaga Beach, Costa da Caparica, in the same place that the 1st edition. This date was chosen to fulfill the tradition of closing the competition season in Portugal.
Activities
Kite Summer Festival’07 powered by Opel Astra Sport is more than a a kiterace. It become the most international kitesurf festival. As last year, in order to assure activities even in no wind conditions, the event will have several different structures and activities on the beach: Slide, air bungee, massages, face painting, surf and diving baptisms, workshops, …

From Lisbon Airport, Take the High-way A2 – Sul (south), crossing the 25 de Abril bridge. Take the first exit on the right toward Caparica, then strait ahead. Turn left after the second traffic lights, and after 5 km, turn right on a dirty road with a big blue sign with several names of beaches: Praia do Rei, Praia da Sereia, … Praia da Nova Vaga
