Boston Area Sport Kite Championships (BASKC) 2007 and KITE FESTIVAL at MILLENNIUM PARK Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm each day This event showcases kite flyers skills to perform specific tricks to music. Directions:
The major highway is Rt. 128/I-95. Take Exit 16A EAST, local Rt. 109 EAST. Travel about 2.3 miles to the intersection of 109 and VFW Parkway. Land mark is! the Irish Ale House on the right and the sign "Entering Boston" on the left. Diagonally across the intersection is the West Roxbury VA Medical Center. Turn left onto VFW Parkway. At the second set of lights (about one block) turn left onto Charles Park Rd. Landmark is the Spring Blossom restaurant and the sign for the entrance into Millennium P

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will have a mobile van to present “Cancer Awareness” at the park on Sunday, August 12, 2007. This is free and the public is encouraged to visit.
