Description:
|
This free workshop will provide all the materials for the children to make a homemade kite for the upcoming kite competitions at the Southlake Kite Festival in the Sky on April 24, 1999 at Southlake Town Square. The workshop for children ages 5-8 will focus on basic kite designs, whereas the sessions for ages 9-12 will work on more complex kite designs. Kathy Nixe of Jewels of the sky Kite Club. Kathy is an award winning kite flying champion with over 10 years of kite design and flying experience. Bicentennial Park Community Center Parents are welcome to attend Saturday, April 17, 1999 Ages 5-8 9am-11am Ages 9-12 noon-2pm
