Description:
Make a two level Miniature Facet kite with Susan Skinner. All materials and supplies will be provided to make a 4” miniature facet kite. This great little facet kite is made from bamboo spars with an origami tissue paper sail. This kite may be flown indoors using a flying rod or outdoors in smooth moderate winds. You will get to keep the templates, clamps and jigs so that you can make additional kites on your own. A clear display box to store your kite in is included as well as a flying rod. Tools will be provided but if you have a favorite pair of scissors, craft knife and/or cutting mat you may wish to have them with you. There will be a short lunch break, bringing a sack lunch is suggested

Directions:
From 101 in the South Bay, exit south on Lawrence Expressway. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left on to Monroe (just after the railway overpass). Go two blocks and turn right on Nobili. It is the third house on the left side

Registration: costs $15.00. Includes all the materials, templates, clamps and jigs for making the kite that are yours to keep. A clear display box to store your kite in and flying rod for indoor flying. Click here for the registration form.
