In celebration of Community College Month, LLCC will host this very special afternoon. Participants will be encouraged to construct their own kites, and several stations will be available for informal learning on the hows and whys of flight. Cloud Chasers Kite Club of Central Illinois will be available to lend their expertise and to show and fly kites. Refreshments and entertainment will also be provided. At 4:00 pm we will have the "Great Kite Flight."

Rain date is May 2, 1999. Family ticket is $10.00 (includes kite kit and refreshments); $5.00 for families who bring their own kites.
