Description:

Inaugural Kites On The River is an outdoor kite festival on the frozen West Twin River here in beautiful Two Rivers. There will be stunt kite performances, single line show kites, impressive ground displays, traction kiting and an indoor kite exhibition at the Community House in the downtown area.

From I-43, take the Hwy. 310 exit to Two Rivers and take Hwy. 42 North to 18th Street. Go west on 18th Street and you will end up at the Vet’s Park.

If you have never been to a winter kite festival, you will be in for a treat. The kites against a winter sky backdrop is a sight to behold. Just dress appropriately and if you need to warm up, there will be chili and hot chocolate available for sale there.
