Description:
Come see some of the largest kites in the world.
Sponsored by the Heart of Texas Sertoma Club in association with the Heart of Texas Miniature Aircraft Club.
The Kite Festival will be Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 10-3 p.m.The event is free of charge and will feature contests and free flying. HOTMAC will have a spectacular air show. Food vendors will be present. This festival is paid for by our sponsors and all proceeds go toward helping hard of hearing children.

From I-35 just south of Waco look for Exit 330(State Hwy. 6) - Exit State Hwy. 6 West - continue west on State Hwy. 6 - you will cross over the lake. Exit Lake Waco/Speegleville Park. Prepare for the exit while on the bridge as there is a hard right turn after the exit. Turn left on the frontage rd - Proceed past the park entrance.
