July 12 - 13 - 29th Annual Wright Kite Festival - Wright Brother’s Memorial (mp 8), Kill Devil Hills, presented by Kitty Hawk Kites. This festival is enjoyed by all ages with a spectacular kite show put on by Larger than Life Kites. Come see a 100ft. Octopus, 50ft Scuba diver and many other dance in the air during this jaw dropping event. There will also be stunt kite demos, games, kids kite making, and contests.
