A relaxing 3 day holiday fly sponsored by The Tennessee Wind Militia, Kitty Hawk Kites, The American Kiteflyers Association, Premier Kites, Prism Kites and Jackites (so far...more to come) focused on fun for the flyers.
For 3 days, starting on Thanksgiving Day, we will have designated flying fields at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, the largest sand dunes in the east.
Thursday will be topped off with a Thanksgiving Dinner/party for the flyers in attendance, including door prizes and fun for all.
Friday evening there will be an indoor fly at the Nags Head Family YMCA, and Saturday night we will light up our kites to participate in Kitty Hawk Kites' "Kites with Lights" event.

Comments:
Some of us are planning to take ourselves out to eat at The Thai Room on Friday night. All are welcome to join.
Since the State Park closes at dusk, those who want more flying time can head to the beach to fly on their own.
