The AKA Convention is an annual five day gathering of kite enthusiasts, artists, and competitors. With roughly 500 members in attendance, the Convention ranks as one of the largest kite gatherings in the world.

Comments:
The Kahler Grand Hotel will be the convention hotel with room rates of $85 for a standard double or standard king room.*
The Kahler Inn & Suites will be the overflow hotel, with room rates ranging from $69 for a double queen room and $89 for a double suite.*
The Kahler Grand Hotel will host our lodging and all of our meetings and events, with the exception of the Indoor Fly. You’ll find everything you need from wired and wireless internet access, remote control TV w/cable and in-room movies, spacious work desk, coffeemaker, private voicemail and dataport, clock radio with alarm, hairdryer and iron/board.
