Featured at this years kitemaking retreat will be Greg Kono of Kono Design in Seattle. Greg will teach his mixed media paper and bamboo kite using 23" coffee filters and shibori dyeing techniques. Also being taught will be a low-wind roller by Kevin Shannon, a high-performance Rev bridle by Paul LaMasters, a lantern style line laundry piece by Andy Burchfield and a small kite made from a cocktail napkin by Joyce King. Karen burkhardt will also have some non-kite crafts.
