The skies of Fort Collins will come alive with kites of all shapes, sizes, and colors when the Second Annual Kites In The Park Kite Festival gets underway! Families will discover how being green and utilizing natural resources can be a fun, creative, and fulfilling experience. What better way to celebrate wind power, the outdoors, and spending time with the family than by coloring the sky together with beautiful kites at this free community event.Kites In The Park will feature professional flyers, specialty kites, a kids kite-making station, competitions & prizes, kites to purchase,concessions, and more!This year will also unveil the premier of our art auction, where unique and wonderful kite creations, donated by local artists, will be available for bid. Proceeds from the art auction will benefit low-income youth participants in the After School Enrichment Program at Northside Aztlan Community Center.
