Description:

The Carolina Kite Fest is a family event with non-competitive flying both Sat and Sun plus a night fly Sat night. Mass ascensions and featured kite flys are held throughout the day for single,dual,and quad line kites. Demos by talented individuals,kite building for kids,candy drops,and kite games are held as the wind permits. There are no competitions and no vending at this event. This is a thank you to the customers of Kites Unlimited and others interested in a low key no cost fun event.

US 70 to Morehead City-Take the bridge to Atlantic Beach-Turn right at the light. The Kites Unlimited shop is at the 3 1/2 mile marker and the Sheraton Resort is at the 5 mile marker.

Food is available in the restaurant and on the pier at MOLLYS.
