Description:

In celebration of Erv Crosby's life. He had such a love for kite making, flying, and sharing his passion with others. Tulip Town in Mt. Vernon is providing a large grass field for kitefliers during their Festival. The two day kite fly will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th. Look forward to seeing you all.

FROM I-5 Exit 226 (Mount Vernon): Proceed West on Kincaid St to 3rd St. North onto 3rd St: continue north until 3rd becomes Division St and your see the Skagit River; head West on Division until Wall Street (first light); Turn south onto Wall St. then west onto McLean Rd; continue on McLean Rd until Bradshaw Rd. This event runs from 9:00 until 5:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. There is a small entry fee ($2.00) to get on the grounds of the kite festival. The normal fee is $5.00, but kitefliers will receive the special rate for this event.
