LIVE ON THE INTERNET!! The 23nd FAMILY KITE FESTIVAL is scheduled for Saturday, May 29th and Sunday 30th 2010, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. NOW 2 days long! Sponsored by B93.3,102/1 WLUM and WMCS Radio, Gift of Wings, and the Kite Society of Wisconsin and Illinois. Featured performers include Chicago Fire Kite Team, Fire & Ice, Josh and Zach Gordon, Charlie Sotich kites, Team Pegasus, Elizabeth Gordon, Dan Newman, Paul Koepke, Dave Bush, Tom Deck, Mike Delfar and the GIANT kites of Yves LaForest and Jean Lemire.

Milwaukee is: 1-1/2 hour drive from Madison(via I-94) 1-1/2 hour drive from Chicago (via I-90) 5-1/2 hour drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul (via I-94) From the west, straight into Milwaukee and head to I-794 exit Lincoln Memorial drive! Easy!! From the South, exit at "Lakefront" exit, and East to the lake!! From the North, exit "Lakefront and then East to the Lake! Veterans Park is North of the freeway exit on Lincoln Memorial Drive.
