Description:
This is a kite festival for the whole family.
Bring a picnic and spend the day.
Food:
The Park Concession Stand will be open.
They have hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and seafood.
It is on the beach at the west end of the fields.
Ice cream carts will be making their way around the fields.
Lodging:
The campground at the park, next to the kite fields,
will be open for camping. Normally, the campground uses
Reserve America to reserve sites. Reserve America
does not take reservations for dates before
Memorial Day Weekend.
For the weekend of the Kite Festival,
camping sites are "first come - first serve".
The park office will be open at 1 PM on Friday
for reservations.
