Description:
The Wildwood International Kite Festival is a four day, multi-venued affair. It includes the 15th Annual East Coast Stunt Kite Championships (America’s oldest and largest sport kite competition); the Wild Wheels Buggy Blast extending this year onto the water with kite board exhibitions; the Wildwood World Indoor Kite Competition in its 5th year; a Nite Kite Show with fireworks; fighter kite competitions and workshops; corporate rokkaku battles; kite sales, demos and free lessons; international guests; world records for giant kites; New this year - the Great International Miniature Kite Contest sponsored by the Drachen Foundation; a school program; kitemaking workshops by special guests and the Lehigh Valley Kite Society; awards banquet and auction; barbecue sponsored by South Jersey Kite Flyers; and lots more if you can believe it.

Directions:
Wildwood is located an hour south of Atlantic City, NJ. Flights to Wildwood can go through Atlantic City, Philadelphia or Newark, NJ. The drive from Philadelphia and Newark is about three hours. Allow more time if traveling on Memorial Day Monday (not recommended).
