Description:
WindFest is a youth and family-friendly event benefiting TEENS, Inc. Youth & Family Center and celebrating community and renewable energy. The 1st Annual WindFest in 2009 featured kiteflying, kitemaking, educational videos, and large specialty kites flown by Sam Pedregon. This year’s event will also include contests, vendor booths, wind art, and educational opportunities provided by NREL! The audience for this event includes children and families, as well as kite flying enthusiasts and community members of all ages.

Directions:
From Boulder, CO, take Canyon Dr. west 17 miles. Make the first left after passing Barker Reservoir. Guercio Ball Field will be on the left. Park in TEENS, Inc. lot just past ball field.
