FREE COMMUNITY KITE FESTIVAL FLIES HIGH ONCE AGAIN EAST MEETS WEST - KITE & CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2010, the eighth annual free community event at Pope John Paul II Park in Dorchester. November 21 (SUN) will be a fun flying day. It will also be a rain backup day. It starts at 10AM and ends at 4PM on both days. Once again, this fun-filled event for both families and professionals will feature the best kites from the East and West: giant dragon, eagle, lobster, butterfly, plus your kites and a lot more.

MBTA: Take the Red Line (Ashmont branch) to Fields Corner. The #20 bus route to Hallet Street.
By Car:
From the south, Rt. 93/128 north to exit 11. At the end of the exit, turn right onto Granite Street to the first
traffic light, Hill Top Street. Turn right, about a mile turn right onto Hallet street drive in to the park. Landmark id the VFW building on the right.
From the north, Rt. 92/128 south to exit 11B. At the end of the of the exit, of the exit,turn right onto Granite Street (Same as above

There will be plenty of space for adults and children alike to fly kites to their hearts' content.
There will be Martial Art demonstration and other cultural activities.
