Description:
|
This is a fun fly; no competition. There will be a PA System with music and announcements along with candy drops and teddy bear drops. This year, we will have the usual kids kitemaking in the morning along with dual line and quad line demonstrations by those who fly. If there is enough interest, we will demonstrate some fighter kite competition. We are happy to have new resident and kite club member Martin Blais at the kitefly this year as well with his big kites.

Directions:

From downtown around the TN Aquarium, take 2nd street to Chestnut to Riverfront Parkway. Follow the parkway around the river, up river, as ti turns into Amnicola Highway. After crossing the South Chickamauga Creek, get in the left lane and turn into the TN Riverpark. Follow the park road around and under the bridge to the other side (up river side) where the kite field will be. Early arrivals will get good parking. Early on you can drive out onto the field to drop your stuff but must park in the parkin
