Description:
The Niagara Windriders are pleased to invite you to their 9th Annual Kitemaking Workshop on Sunday March 27, 2011, from 10 am to 4 pm.
This year, we are featuring Lucy Jonkman and Kerry St. Dennis as our guest presenters. Kerry and Lucy are highly skilled, innovative kite designers and kitemakers. Their work is known around the world. Kerry and Lucy have been invited as guests to many prominent kite festivals. Their ability as workshop leaders has been honed over the years and we are pleased to feature them as our guest presenters on Sunday March 27, 2011.
This year’s kite is the Ultra-Lite Crossover Kite. Based on the popular Ginga kite, Lucy and Kerry’s Ultra-Lite Crossover Kite takes all of the beauty of the Ginga and blends it with design tweaks that enhance the elegance and flight characteristics of this popular kite.
