The 9th Annual Prairie Winds Kite Fly invites you to enjoy many acres of flying space at the municipal airport from 10am to 4pm. A professional flying field, as well as, a family flying field offer ample room to fly kites or simply sit back and watch them! Kite making, glider contests, bol races, candy drop and more activities take place throughout the day. Concessions are available and music, kite history displays, scavenger hunt and Ecology Bus activities add to the fun! Kites available for sale through Donovan’s Hobby and a Kite Dr. onsite to repair wounded kites. Visit the PEBC website for more information: http://www.ecologybus.org.
