Description:
Welcoming kids of all ages to the 14th Annual Blue Ridge Kite Festival on Saturday, April 21, 2012 to be held at Roanoke County’s Green Hill Park.
This is our fourteenth annual event and will feature the talent and exhibition of kites from the Richmond Air Force Kite Club.
Free admission, free parking, free kites, and free t-shirts for the kids the day of the event. Visit Green Hill Park in western Roanoke County and enjoy the all-day fun from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Event also features kite vendor, arts & crafts vendors, food, and various entertainment around the park. This event is hosted by Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce. (www.s-rcchamber.org)

Salem exit 137 off I-81 just south of Roanoke. West on Main street (Rt 460). Take left on Duiguids lane. Cross river and Park is on right. (Just look for all the kites in the air)
