Description:
A long-established, community supported, family day of kite flying! Leave your worries, bring the kids and camera. Admission is one smile per person.
The Richmond Air Force, with guests from Wings Over Washington, team with Kitebus Festivals to paint the sky with the colors of KITES! Demonstrations and music galore, with the much anticipated American Flag Ceremony. Events such as bol racing and kite buggy are subject to weather and safety conditions.

Directions:

Sherando Park is located 17 miles south of Winchester, Va., just off of I81. Take exit 307 off of I81, turn left onto VA 277...this is heading east towards Stephens City/Route 340...go 1.8 miles, turn right onto Sherando Park on Lakeview Circle. The festival is on the right, ample parking is available.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN IQUAD TEAM!!!
The sponsors have increased our motel budget to TEN ROOMS!! YIPPEE!! We have 7 filled already, so... And, historically, the sponsors have generously supplied food and other perks, too. More on these once they finalize in March.
