The 27th annual Santa Barbara Kite Festival, will take flight 11am-4pm, Sunday, April 15th, 2012. The festival will be held in the “Great Meadow†on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College. The blufftop lawn overlooks the beautiful Santa Barbara harbor and breakwater and is a perfect location for kite flying. Parking is plentiful on campus and admission to the festival is free. The Santa Barbara Kite Festival is always a fun-filled family-style affair featuring kites of all sizes, shapes and color.
