Description:
MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy features dazzling mega kite displays by the Kansas City Kite Club on the picturesque lawn of the MCC-Longview campus.
It is the only event of its kind in the region. Throughout Kansas City, individuals and families alike are making MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy "a definite" on their Spring calendar.

Directions:

I-470 to View High Drive; 2 miles south to campus, on the south west corner of View High Drive and 3rd Street. From Hwy 150 in Lees Summit, Take the 3rd Street exit and travel 3 miles west to View High.

Some kites will be in the air early - usually by 8 a.m. Festival will begin at 10 a.m., and dedicated parking for Kite Flyers. Please contact the Kansas City Kite Club for details or if you play to fly on the KCKC field (separate area from public flying areas).
