Description:
The hours of the festival are 10am to 4pm, followed by a dance from 6 to 10pm. Please let us know if you will be attending as motel rooms may be limited because of Eagle Ford Explorations. Blocks of rooms will be available to dedicated kiters on a first come basis. The chamber will have prizes for best demo and best kite in different catagories. Everyone is welcome to come fly kites/papalotes!

Hwy 281 runs directly thru Pleasanton. Pleasanton is located about 20 to 30 miles south of San Antonio, TX.

Comments:
This is our first time to organize a Papalote/Kite Festival. Please come fly your kites and help us to make our festival a success! Everyone is welcome! New Tech Kites General Manager Rob Cemblest from Austin, TX, will be present and flying a variety of kites. American Kitefliers Association Region 8 Director Troy Gunn from Wichita Falls, TX, who is a past National champion and world record holder of flying maneuverable sport kites, will be attending and performing with his dual and quad line kites.
